The Board of Directors Meeting for the Sonoma County Pagan Network.
1/5/2003 at 3 PM at the Home of Bjorn and Lady Merlin.
Attending: Bjorn, Kathryn, Kevin, Lacrima, Moki, Shay, Jon, and Caroline.
Absent: Ferne/Corvus
Quorum: Met
 
Old Business:
2002 Yule Party great success. Thanks to Bjorn for an awesome ritual. 
Thanks to all who participated in evening and in the Sally Ann donations. 
 
New Business:
1) Caroline resigned as secretary.
2) Group decided to allow the secretary position to be open to nomination 
    and voting at the next meeting.
3) Jon proposed four separate motions for the restructuring of the SCPN and 
    the Board.
 
Motion One: J. proposed that the meetings be open (voting, suggestions, etc.)
     to dues paying members.
Motion One passed.
 
Motion Two: J. proposed that we hold general Biz meetings every other month.
Motion two passed.
 
Motion Three: J. proposed that the 6 meetings per year be held one hour 
            before the regular SCPN social meeting at the LBH hall.
Motion Three passed.
 
Motion Four: J. proposed that the Board be reduced to the Three: 
            Chairperson/ Secretary/ and Treasurer-- who will than meet as 
            often as need dictates. 
Motion Four was not passed and shelved until further notice.
 
Treasurer's Report
The initial filling fee for the LBC hall is $120.00
SCPN account has $314.50 and $25.00 in the cash box.
Need to have $500.00+ for the 503c filling fee.
Book and Craft sales to be ongoing.
Raffle to be every two to three months, next one in Feb.
Each dues paying member will be given a nifty membership card.
 
Chairperson's report:
The 1/17/2003 gathering will primarily focus on business and membership 
    information.
The by-laws will need to be revised to incorporate the new changes.
Meetings will now include birthdays, with the upcoming one to feature a 
Greek potluck.
Need a volunteer to maintain the book sale table.
Kevin will send out e mails re:  $25.00 membership fee breakdown and what 
will be going on at the upcoming meeting.
Starting in 2004, every Jan. will be open elections for new Board members.
Starting this Jan., the Jan. meetings will be the annual membership drive. 
 
Other stuff:
Caroline will construct and maintain an idea box.
Wren will be holding a Rune class, see her for details.
Need suggestions and, to book, upcoming guest speakers.
Summer 2003 campout in the works.
Social activities to resume, with a possible pub night in January.
